The Face Behind Sensory Retreats
Having started my career as a beauty therapist for the likes of Champney's and Clarins, I worked my way up into a national sales position for Decleor & Carita with the chance to work for high-end spas and prestigious brands. I was then offered a role at Champney's, managing the development and launch of a new skincare range. This is where I discovered my passion for creating and developing products.
Self-heating technology is something I've championed throughout my career, having successfully launched Lava Shells in 2008, through my other company, Shared Beauty Secrets, and to date have trained over 10,000 therapists in using this innovative heated massage tool. In 2020 I decided to launch Sensory Retreats, an affordable but luxurious wellbeing brand which incorporated a range of deeply relaxing and pampering at home spa products to relax, rebalance and reset all five senses. It was a natural evolution for me to create a range of self-heating eye and face masks to enhance the in-spa client and home customer experience.
